Happy Sunday!

Hi there! I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. It has been too long since I last blogged!! I've had such issues  with my server deleting my posts and although it is still not fixed, I am going to blog anyway. Boy I really missed it.

A month ago, Tiffany & Co invited us to their NYC flagship store to view their timeless masterpieces over brunch.  So my husband and I walked over to 5th avenue taking in all the sights and sounds of the city along the way. 5th Avenue is not only historic but a must see destination if you are a fashion-focused tourist. When you do find yourself there, you may have just found heaven on earth!  But for a very visual person such as myself, the window displays are an absolute must especially during the holidays.  And may I just say, nothing excites and inspires me more than these.

We've all seen the movie Breakfast at Tiffany's and if you haven't, go rent it like right now. It's definitely one of my most favorite movies. So for this event,  I wanted to channel a bit of a modern Audrey Hepburn wearing an ensemble of pinks in a silhouette reminiscent of the the 60's in a damask fabric. To keep it from being too saccharin, I paired it with tights and these Chanel oxfords. The tights kept me warm and these shoes were seriously made for walking!

If he's an indicator of what lies inside those doors, then without a doubt I'm in for a treat!  What do you think?  Seriously, I couldn't have been more excited! Tiffany & Co of course is known for their hand-made jewels. These are pieces of jewelry that are meant to be heirloom and passed on from one generation to the other. The truth is, a piece of jewelry is like the icing on the cake. While I tend to experiment and even at times push the envelope with fashion, I tend to lean towards more on the classic side when it comes to jewelry. With jewelry the simpler the better as long as it is good quality.

After a scrumptious brunch, I was able to tour Tiffany & Co's  10th floor where their masterpieces are crafted. Seriously, it is like being at the North Pole with Santa's elves, except that this is on 5th avenue with some of the best artists and jewelers! Getting to try these masterpieces are an event on its own!  Swoon!

I love this simple bow bracelet encrusted with diamonds in rose gold. It a perfect piece to be worn on its own or stacking.

If you are still reading this, well I got some exciting news for you. See the small blue box on the above picture? I picked a little something for a lucky winner.
